Description
Lovely first pressing copy of Fairport's 1970 album, their last one with the great Richard Thompson on guitar. This copy has had light use only and the sleeve in particular is in very nice condition. Matrices are A3/B3.
Gatefold sleeve Ex Outside textured. In really nice condition, this particular sleeve is so often worn and untidy. Would be Ex+/NM but there is a faint address stamp on the rear and some small numbers written in pencil.
Labels Ex+ Very clean indeed. Very light spindle traces on the Side 2 label, moderate traces on the Side 1 label..
Inner VG Original polylined bag with the correct date (02/70). Some creasing and age-yellowing.
Record Visually Ex, great shine to the vinyl. Some light wispy sleeve-removal scuffs and hairlines seen under a strong light. One or two very light visible hairlines seen in normal light. The audio is generally Ex throughout, clear and well-defined with some inevitable light crackle at times. Really not bad at all for a 48 year-old record!
