This listing is for the 2025 LP by Far Caspian, Autofiction. This blue and white color-in-color (colour-in-colour) variant was pressed to a limited run of only 350 hand numbered copies, is signed by Joel, and sold out almost immediately. I purchased this for myself as I’m a lover of vinyl records. Please note it came unsealed from Blood Records, but it is new/unplayed. This piece was never displayed anywhere. It was set on an IKEA shelf which has been covered by a drop cloth to keep out UV rays. I've provided images of all four corners for your review. I have 3 copies at the time of this listing. The first buyer will receive the lowest copy, second buyer second lowest, and so on.
Autofiction, the 2025 album from Far Caspian, comes exclusively pressed to blue and white colour-in-colour LP with gatefold sleeve and pull-out poster, limited to 350 copies and hand numbered to order. Far Caspian is the moniker of Joel Johnson and the record is about Joel learning to make peace with the cards he's been dealt following his Crohn's disease diagnosis in 2021. It addresses the mourning of the loss of his life before, struggling to cope with not only his new reality, but also the ongoing battle with OCD and anxiety. Autofiction finds the Irish musician discovering the tools he needs to keep moving forward. "I'm at the point now where I don't really let it define me," he says. "The lyric 'your mind changed from a fear to a song' [on 'Lough'] is my expression of freedom: to no longer be held down by something you've got used to. I'm trying to not even make sense of it all, but just live in it, and be grateful for the things I do have."
On the sleeve grading, I never grade sleeves as mint as you can always find some minor imperfection if you look hard enough. Check out the images and judge for yourself.
