Fela Anikulapo Kuti - Box Set 1 - Barclay 547 035-1 - 1997

This Limited Edition box set contains:

1) Six original, remastered Fela Kuti LPs with original artwork

2) Six color postcards featuring portraits of Fela's wives

3) A 12"x12", 10-page, full-color booklet with rare photos and an essay.

All material is packaged in a sturdy, numbered box.

The Box Set includes the folllowing records (original release year):

LP A: Open & Close (1971)

LP B: Gentleman (1973)

LP C: Upside Down (1976)

LP D: Yellow Fever (1976)

LP E: J.J.D.(Johnny Just Drop) (1977)

LP F: I.T.T.(International Thief Thief) (1980)

Produced in France in 1997, this was the first in a series of highly-collectable Fela vinyl box sets. The first volume is the rarest, and most collectible, and has been out of print for years. This box set is numbered 7463.

All lp's are completely sealed. The booklet has only been touched in order to take photos. All postcards and booklet are as mint as the day this set was purchased. There are no scratches or marks anywhere on the box. For all intents and purposes, this is in mint condition.
