STILL SEALED
Guhhhhhh. Really don't want to do this, but as my appetite for fancy booze has superseded my love of hoarding old records (what can I say, it's really good booze), the time has come. Let's say this: I LOVE this record. That's why I ended up with a spare, still sealed copy of it. I think the press release that came with it (fine, I got one as a promo copy; I'm old) said something like "will peel the paint off your walls" and it was dead on. Savage, untamed, raw rock. Jack White of the White Stripes has repeatedly declared that the Flat Duo Jets' Dexter Romweber was a huge influence on him. It shows, but Dex could -- and literally would -- wipe the floor with that schmuck. This must be heard on vinyl. I bought this new upon release, not from a collector. The record has always been in my possession and, as with all my other records, I have taken very good care of it.
So, yeah, still sealed. The vinyl, so far as any reasonable person can tell, is perfect. The cover has also been sealed lovingly inside the pristine shrinkwrap since..yeesh, 21 years ago. This is an original pressing on Dog Gone Records. Not many of these around anymore, and even fewer still sealed.
I have been buying and selling records for a long, long time now and know how to do it right. I pack well (record removed from sleeve and packaged with a thick cardboard divider between them) and ship fast. I love my records and care about their condition and the home they will eventually receive. I will not screw you over. After all, one day when I regain my senses I may end up wanting to buy this back from you.
That said: Once the record leaves my hands, so does the responsibility for its condition. In other words, if you're worried (or especially if you live overseas) BUY THE INSURANCE, because if something goes wrong, you're out the cash (and the record), not me. I also know shipping and insurance costs are outrageous, and I'm happy to work with you about keeping those costs down. Any other questions, just ask and I will respond as quickly as I can.
