Description

An original 1st press of Rumours on the UK Warners label from 1977. Matrix A/B - absolute 1st cut nothing earlier exists. Etching 'Allen'. The vinyl comes houses in an original textured heavy-card cover. Also included is the generic white patent no's inner sleeve with the lyric poster inner. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wowzers - a beautiful slab of vinyl which has seen only the very lightest use. Under close inspection we are struggling to make out a single mark - blimey! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you are looking for a top-level copy that is going to smoke every other copy out there for audio - congratulations - you just found it! Very difficult to find fault here - just lovely pure audio tumbling out of the speakers. Don't short change yourself with an untested or marginally inferior copy. This original really has the stamp of quality written all over it - and has much more authority than the zillion reissues that were being pumped out in '78-'79. Interference is practically non-existent. All I could honestly detect were a couple of light static crackles as the music gets going on side 1 - and then maybe a couple more in one or two isolated moments. And that's it across both sides - a tremendous and clean rendition from start to finish. It's so impressive I'm giving it the FINAL UPGRADE stamp of approval.
Cover (Ex) Lovely shiny unaged front and back with minimal handling. In fact it would grade higher, but for a minuscule amount of sticker residue in the front top-right corner and a couple of light indentations. Edge wear is very light for this title and the spine is pretty much immaculate. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Barely any ageing or marks. No seam splits.
Lyric sheet/poster (Ex+) No issues or writing or ageing.
