Description
From the late forties and early fifties we have for a no reserve auction both of Frank Sinatra’s original first 10” LP vinyl releases. The first from 1948 is titled “The Voice Of Frank Sinatra” and is on the Columbia label catalog # CL 6001. Vinyl has a nice surface, however the original inner paper sleeve is missing and it has been stored in blank newsprint paper. Paper jacket shows its age and has cut through on one side. The other disk, I believe from 1953, is Frank’s Capitol Records release “Songs For Young Lovers”, catalog # H 488. Vinyl again has a nice surface and retains its original inner paper sleeve with cut through on one side. Jacket has nice color but cut through on both top and bottom. These items are not pristine, un-played collectables, but rather nice survivors of The Voices golden days. Sadly, after ten years of selling vinyl here on eBay there is a new requirement. As a seller I am no longer allowed to charge for our packaging and they suggest that we include that cost in our listing price. Proper packaging is expensive, but required for safe delivery of vinyl products and we would never consider anything less for our clients. So our cost of a new mailer, pads and processing is now included in our pricing. If you have questions about this item, please make use of the “Ask The Seller A Question” option.
