Description
This is the original Columbia 78 RPM album-book issue of Songs By Sinatra Volume I, released before the later 10 inch LP format. The set includes four 10 inch shellac 78 RPM records housed in the original Columbia album book with printed inner sleeves/pages. Tracks include “I’m Sorry I Made You Cry,” “I Concentrate On You,” “How Deep Is The Ocean,” “That Old Black Magic,” “Over The Rainbow,” “All The Things You Are,” “She’s Funny That Way,” and “Embraceable You.” Orchestra under the direction of Axel Stordahl.
All four discs have the same general look and playback character. Record plays VG+ AUDIO. There are constant soft crackles, but Sinatra’s voice is dominant, deep, and very present. Album book shows age wear, edge wear, spine wear, tape reinforcement/repair, splits and handling wear as shown. Please review all photos carefully.
Please note: this is a 78 RPM shellac record set and must be played on equipment appropriate for 78 RPM records.
I grade by audio playback unless otherwise stated.
NOTE: Please consider that your audio equipment blows mine away and the record will invariably sound better on your system. Also, I do not have the ability to professionally clean records and give one static brush before ONE sampling, then back into the sleeve and jacket. My goal is to give you all you need for a transparent purchasing experience.
