Frank Zappa "Hot Rats" LP Record Original Gatefold Bizarre/Reprise RS 6356 Near Mint
Note - I have switched the 1/2F pressing previously described for a perfect 1/1 first printing from another sleeve. This yields a pairing of a very clean jacket/sleeve with a perfect 1/1 true first pressing. The 1/1F in a mildly distressed sleeve will be relisted (for less money of course).
Features famous cuts like "Willy the Pimp" with Captain Beefheart on vocals and incredible guitar work from Frank.
Very good 1969 analogue recording, real soundstage, at times percussion jumps out at you.
Super clean first pressing - close to new, no flaws. There is virtually no surface noise, none with music.
Runout shows a pressing # of 1 on the first side, 1 on the second side. Gatefold cover is very nice with 2 small staple holes, a couple of stains at top of white border on the front cover, the dust cover is excellent with a 1 inch split at bottom.
Carefully cleaned with a VPI HW-16 vacuum turntable cleaning machine with VPI fluid.
Play tested using an excellent system - moving coil cartridge, VPI turntable, etc.
Impossible to find mint first pressing.
