Description

Up for auction is an original 1960 1st mono pressing of the Freddie Redd Quartet with Jackie McLean - The Music From The Connection vinyl LP on Blue Note Records, BLP 4027. This is an original 1st Mono press with both RVG and the "Ear" stamped into the dead wax and the West 63rd NYC labels/address. Matrix #'s are BN-LP-4027-A / BN-LP-4027-B. VINYL is in VG--/G++ condition and does have play wear and visible surface marks all throughout. Has background noise on playback but does not skip. SLEEVE is in VG- condition with some discoloring in a few areas on the back. There are no seam splits, but there is some wear to each corner, most notably the lower corner on the opening side. Please see photos and zoom in. There is also a small area of wear/stuff on the Side 2 label just below the word "playing" to note. Again, please see photos. Overall a great beginner or filler copy for your collection. Bid confidently. Thanks for your time!
