Up for sale is a Vinyl version of "Boy, Girl, Boy" by Freddy King, Lula Reed and Sonny Thompson. Original 1962 US pressing on King Records (777), with black labels.
Number of records: 1
Record Condition: VG/Good, plays pretty well with some surface noise, clicking and crackling in spots. Prominent and steady surface noise during the first two and a half tracks on side two, due to something embedded that my record cleaner couldn't remove; a consistent "skcrrch" sound is produced at about 1 second intervals. Record has a good amount of surface marks and storage scuffs of varying degrees of length and prominence, but none are deep and there are no skips. Plays better than it looks, except for the previously mentioned section on side 2.
Sleeve Condition: Storage wear. 4 1/2" seam split starting in top right corner of front cover. 9" seam split starting in bottom right corner of front cover. Discoloration and sticker residue near top left corner of back cover.
Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, here's ours!
We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System
I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition!
Sealed: Only used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but, since they're sealed, I can't tell the condition for sure! It is good practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint.
Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see.
VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK.
VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.
Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.

All of my records are shipped in protective cardboard record mailers with cardboard backers on each side.
Included with each record is a new plastic sleeve to keep your artwork safe!
