Description

Freudian Follies 1947 5 X 12" Acetate Discs. This is a play performed by the staff of the Menninger Clinic in Topeka Kansas in 1947. The Menninger Foundation was established in 1941. The Menninger School of Psychiatry was established in 1946. It quickly became the largest training center in the country, driven by the country's demand for psychiatrists to treat military veterans. 5 discs in 10 parts, part 1: Angels Song, 2: I was a Youngster, 3: I am a Model, 4: Knight's Away must see Dr. Knight, 5: I am the Head Man 6: School Song, 7: Manager's Lot, 8: Bless the Doc, 9: Schizophrenia, 10: Love Unsolicited. The Menninger Foundation was founded by Dr Karl Menninger in 1919. This is a rare early performance of the Freudian Follies.
