Grading system (it is strict).
wax:
Sealed : Factory sealed, as new condition and unopened since manufacture
VG++ : Clean vinyl, few if any marks which will be light and not affecting play
VG+ : Marks on vinyl but no scratches that make any significant noise, plays well
VG : Marks and scratches on vinyl, plays ok with some noise here and there but nothing detrimental to the overall sound
VG - : Marks and scratches are audiable and affecting the play. Still enjoyable copy.
cover:
Sealed : Factory sealed, as new condition and unopened since manufacture
VG++ : Clean cover without defects to detect.
VG+ : Marks on cover (ex: slight ringwear) and seams but still look in good shape
VG : ringwear, drill hole, cut corner or splits on seams.
