Up for auction is a copy of Album #1 by Gary Walker & The Rain, released in Japan on Philips. This is a reissue from 2002 on Dofi, cat no DOFI 59. You’re unlikely to ever find an original copy of this album at an affordable price, but this nicely-executed reissue should suffice. Because of the rarity of this album, its quality (which is high) is often ignored; if you dig psych-influenced powerful late 60s pop, this will definitely be your bag. Joey Molland of the band (he also wrote most of the original titles herein) later joined Badfinger.
Condition: vinyl looks unplayed. Cover has a 1” split on the upper seam, but is otherwise problem-free. M-/EX (vinyl/cover).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
