TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare, four (4) song EP, with it's accompanying jacket, is by Gene Vincent and His Blue Caps  - his very 1st ever EP release - from the early years of R'n'R - 1957. The highly collectible and ultra rare EP is entitled, "Bluejean Bop" and is on the original, 1st pressing, green with silver print, Capitol Label. It is "Part 1", which simply means it is the first of three EP's released from their 1957 LP of the same title (see the pictures above for all song titles). In my opinion, this EP (both the record and jacket) is in outstanding, near mint, practically :like new" condition - and certainly is one I once thought would never leave my collection. But.......here it is, so have at it. I've been collecting for some 60 years now and I honestly can't imagine anyone would be disappointed with the condition of this piece - it appears to me to be that nice, but please read on. I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find 45's, EP's, and LP's in my future auctions, so please check my site out from time to time - as there are hundreds more to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The Capitol Label (EAP 1-764) is super clean and nice with nothing negative to mention at all (see the pics above). There aren't even any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good and close to perfect - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in need of a mention either - in my opinion, the vinyl looks about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased - really! JACKET: Finally, this EP's cardboard jacket is also in near perfect condition - I honestly see no flaws in need of any mention here. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: This EP (record and jacket) is about as nice a "used/opened" package as you will ever find, not to mention how ridiculously rare it is......so please have at it.
