Genesis - "Just A Pool Of Tears" Rockwell & Good Records TMI 1001/2/3 from 2002. Super Hard To Find Original Private Underground Triple Album Vinyl Record version of this Live performance by Genesis from Detroit's Ford Auditorium on April 20, 1976! Featuring Bill Bruford along with the regular Genesis lineup at that point - Phil Collins, Steve Hackett, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford. The last two songs are non-LP B-Sides. Nice!

In super condition! The the cover does not really have much actual "wear", just some very slight basic ring storage wear. It does however have some creased corners, both lower corners are pretty creased and the upper right corner very slightly creased but doesn't actually look as though it was bent. Even with these flaws still very nice and solid and should easily rate a strong VG if not VG+! Please note - any marks, streaks or blotches that you may see which are not mentioned in the write up (like those in the upper right corner of the cover) are scanner artifacts, not defects in the record cover... I will list any actual defects! All of the vinyl is super! You can spot a slight sleeve scuff or two if you really look closely (and have good eyes...) but, if it were not for a couple light spindle trails on the labels, I would have said that the this records were quite likely unplayed. Well, at any rate, pretty sure they were certainly never played very much at all! Super clean and easily Near Mint as are the labels (other than the above mentioned slught spindle trails)! One other note on the labels. They actually have hand written side notations "A", "B", "C", etc.. I am fairly certain that this was done at the "Factory" as all the labels simply say "Side 1" and "Side 2" with no indication of which disc is which.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

One other caveat... As most of you looking at this will know, some of these old Private, Fan, Underground LPs don't have the greatest recording fidelity or pressing quality. Of course, some are really nice. In any case, I assume that if you bid that you understand this. I am not responsible for any potential disappointments in sound quality. Even more than usual, these are graded strictly on a visual basis.

I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over eleven years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
