Description
Hello, my name is Brian and I have been a vinyl fan for many years now and have always bought and sold items to feed my vinyl hunger...I have never been a dealer and this is not a business. I will always describe my items for sale as honestly and accurately as possible with plenty of clear and detailed pictures.
If you read my ebay feed back as a seller you will see that people are happy with what they receive from my auctions. I try not to waffle on about how rare an album is using silly expressions such as "AWESOME" or "IMPOSSIBLE LIKE THIS" etc etc (yawn yawn)!
All listing are played on a very high spec reference system before grading.
I am very particular about packaging the vinyl. I use quality boxes with cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrap for extra protection. The vinyl is always packaged outside of the sleeve to prevent seem splits. I am happy to post any where in the world but it must be fully insured.
The cost of POSTAGE will depend on the final selling value and destination, so I can't advise the cost until the auction has ended.
PLEASE WAIT TO BE INVOICED
Please bid with confidence, and if for some reason you are not happy with your purchase I am happy to give a FULL refund on receiving the item back in the condition I posted it out in.
I recommend extra insurance for the more valuable items (over £40), it only costs a few pounds and is well worth it in my opinion. I will NOT post items over seas without full insurance.
I use the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system with a + or - where appropriate.

Gate-fold, Textured and Un-laminated. There are no seem splits or sticker tears, no bad repairs etc, there is a small scuff top right front on the top edge of the cloud(very hard to see). There is almost no wear to this sleeve. There is NO bottom edge shelf wear, the top edge is in just as good condition. The spine is very strong and square and all of the RED PRINTED information is fully readable. The opening edges are in great shape. There is almost no corner tip wear and NO surface rub. There is some minor creasing. The inner gate-fold is in top undamaged condition. All of the information is very crisp and clear. So hard to find a 45 year old sleeve in this super condition. EX+
INNER SLEEVE.
Original red promotional sleeve, almost perfect with no seem splits ,stains or repairs. There is y83 hand written in 1 corner, other wise superb. EX
LABELS.............
The labels are the correct darker pink labels only on the very first pressings and are in great condition with no stains or tears. NO spindle lines on the A label and only 1 light one on the B side which also has IBBY written in ball point pen. MINT/EX
VINYL................
Only played a hand full of times and then with the utmost care. Both sides still have there as new deep black shine. There are no scratches or scuffs to the playing surface. There are some light hair line marks that can only be seen under the brightest of lights, in normal daylight this album looks mint. It sits nice and flat on the turntable. The playback is very strong with not even a hint of wear or degradation to the sound. Some obvious dust crackle in the very quiet sections,(a professional clean could remove these) no loud clicks or pops and no skips or jumps. EX/EX
COMMENTS......
Charisma recordings are notorious for bad pressings, but this one plays through with almost no distortion, much better than most, very fresh indeed. A couple of cosmetic faults but a genuine first press with well above average play back.
