LP GENTLE GIANT - ACQUIRING THE TASTE (VERTIGO 6360 041)
Very hard to find British 1971 original issue on the SPIRAL VERTIGO LABEL! Cover is gatefold, and has no blemishes apart from a neat 2cm split on the bottom seam close to the opening. Apart from that and a little storage wear on both seams the cover is in very strong condition: no creases to worry about, no writing and no faults apart from the aforementioned small imperfections. This copy also has the sought after SPIRAL INNER sleeve which - again from one small fault, a tiny slplit near the PVC hole (only one side, side 2 of the cover is perfect) - is in excellent condition. Best of all the disc has been lovingly cared for by one owner for nearly 40 years!! Under a 100 watt bulb you may spot a few very light paper scuffs from the inner sleeve, under strong daylight the disc looks almost mint. The centre hole is still sharp and this does not look like it has been played a lot. Great copy of a sought after record!!
