Description

This is a collection of 16 old George Formby 78s records, I would like to sell in one job lot and would ask THE BUYER TO COLLECT owing to the weight,fragility and cost of old 78 records being sent via any postal service.

I live not far from from Llandudno in North Wales.

The records HAVE NOT been played or CLEANED by me as I do not have the facilities to play old 78s and would imagine a good professional clean would be far better than me trying to clean them.
I would maybe do more harm than good !!!

However I have examined each one visually and would say there are no
heavy scratching on any of them, there is some very light scuffing on two or three, in the majority of them the centre label is in excellent condition with very little marking around the spindle hole.
Visually,if forced to grade them I would say they are G++

Most are still in their original record sleeves which are creased and slightly "grubby" but no rips,remembering that most are some 70+years old!!

I am not a record dealer just a private individual that is selling his grandparents old records.

Needless to say they have not been played for over 40 years.
The price that I am asking of £29 in total equates to each record only costing £1.82 each!!! A BARGAIN

I know that there are some on my list would sell for far more than that if sold singly, but am also aware that they have to be picked up in person from north wales so have limited "local" interest as opposed to being posted anywhere in the UK.
