This recording was first published in 1956. Malcolm Macdonald in the Gramophone gave a positive review. “This is a straightforward and extremely good account of the Kreutzer. Miss de Vito and Tito Aprea form a most excellent partnership with an admirably clean classical style, and the effective team-work is helped by noticeably good balance in the recording”.

Side B: Plays Near Mint Minus close to Near Mint. Plays with some occasional noise that do not seriously affect sound.
Record is graded with the combination SME/ORTOFON SPU GOLD cartridge. This combination is very sensitive to background noise.
Probably with a with a mono cartridge the background noise are disappeared.
The Violin & Piano reproduce perfectly with no distortion. The recording quality is really excellent. STUNNING SOUND
