Original Italian pressing on the PRODUTTORI ASSOCIATI label (PA / NP 3217), from 1973. Desirable, Italian soundtrack single. Features an experimental / psychedelic jazz theme from the cult giallo horror / RAI TV mini series, Una Porta Sul Buio (aka The Door Into Darkness) directed by Dario Argento. UNA COSA NUOVA is an obsessive mix of modal jazz with 5/4 tempo waltz rhythms over cinematic orchestrations. Elegant spiritual jazz piano by the maestro. YESTERDAY is the Lennon - McCartney penned anthem re-worked by an orchestra with Gaslini improvising over the beautiful main theme. Obscure Italian jazz related item. Disturbing artwork picture sleeve too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines / mini scuffs from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. A few soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with ring creasing from storage. A touch of corner and edge wear, in places. Rare OST 45!!!
