DESCRIPTION

This is one of those real wow! items that every so often we have the pleasure to auction. It is the Glastonbury Fayre Musical Anthology triple LP from 1972 on the highly collectable Revelations label. It contains both live and studio recordings from The Grateful Dead, Brinsley Schwartz, Mighty Baby, Marc Bolan, Pete Townsend, David Bowie, Hawkwind, Skin Alley, Daevid Allen & Gong, Pink Fairies and The Edgar Broughton Band - what a line up!!!

There was only 5000 copies of this LP ever made and over the years that number has dwindled to only a few hundread as most have been damaged beyond play and are no longer with us. However this example is the best of any of the very few we have ever seen. The Sleeve, which fold out into a hufe poster is in EX condition all three LP's are in at least EX condition and could even fall into EX+ with signs of only very light play and all 6 labels are pristine. But the cherry on the cake is it comes with all three booklets in EX+ condition and even the illustrated transparent record bag.

Please note our pictures are always taken without the need or use of artificial lighting. We find that this always gives a more accurate view of the item you are bidding on, we have found that when using a flash on vinyl it will always make it look shiny regardless of its condition. Therefore the pictures you see showcase a true representation of the item we are selling.

CONDITION GRADINGS - Please note we do not sell records in fair, poor or bad condition. We only make an exception when a record is still deemed a quality item regardless of its condition ie one of the Elvis Presley Sun Singles and the condition will be explained in full within such a listing.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

VINYL EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

SLEEVE EXCELLENT : The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VINYL VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

SLEEVE VERY GOOD : Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, some laminate veining or minor discolouration without any major defects, is acceptable.

VINYL GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

SLEEVE GOOD : The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine or edge splits, discolouration, laminate veining etc.
