Description
Very nice copy of Glenn Miller's very first album ever, the 1944 78-rpm set on RCA album P-148, simply called An Album of Outstanding Arrangements on Victor Records, one of the series called Victor Music Smart Sets. Includes four 78 records featuring his most famous recordings, including the ever-favorite, In the Mood. The discs are all in very-good-plus shape, with some scuffs and marks, but they play really nicely. Not much groove wear, mostly surface marks which don't ruin the music at all. On my player the music is loud and clear and really bright and glorious. A little light background crackle but very minor. They play great. The cover is in just beautiful condition, with only very light corner wear and a name written at the top, but otherwise remarkably well preserved, with a rare intact spine and strong binding. This is a beautiful original copy, very rare to find complete and in such condition. The discs include:

All are the original recordings, pressed with original masters and the best possible sound for any pressing that has ever been made. This is by far the best way to hear these wonderful recordings.
