This 78 has been cleaned on our Pro-Ject VC-S cleaning machine and played through once on each side on a record player with a sapphire tip stylus


Original UK 10" Shellac 78rpm single. Company sleeve. Cat number HMV BD5565

The cat number suggests a pressing date of 1940, however the "TT" tax code embossed on side 1 label suggests a pressing date of between 13th April 1943 and 9th April 1946

A nice clean shiny example, with a couple of very light needle marks and some small dulling patches on the playing surfaces. It plays extremely well with some light background crackle and normal shellac surface noise.
