You are bidding on one of the holy grails of Rock N' Roll! This is the rare "Go, Johnny Go!" Promotional movie Soundtrack LP that was only issued to selected theatres in 1959!

THIS IS ONE RARE FIND FOR ANYONE WHO COLLECTS MAJOR ROCK N' ROLL HISTORY!

Artists are a who's who in 50's Rock and Pop. They are Jimmy Clanton, Chuck Berry, Sandy Stewart, Jo Ann Campell, Jackie Wilson, Eddie Cochran, Harvey Of The Moonglows, The Cadillacs, The Flamingos and Ritchie Valens (listed on the front as "The Late Ritchie Valens")!

The movie actually came out right after Valens died along with the The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly.

There was no specific record label for this release!

Labels read "SAMPLE COPY - NOT FOR SALE."

Matrix (or Trail-Off) numbers read an etched "GJG-A" and "4?1?59" for Side 1; and "4?1?59" and "GJG-B" for Side 2. The dates are not visible in the label photos.

This is NOT the 70's reissue!

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in Poor condition. Front and back have some wear (mainly the back). Back of cover has some writing on it and old dried tape residue on top. Some old tape is still on top. Both the spine and top of cover are completely split. Cover has a curve to it.

Record is in VG Minus to VG shape. Has some deep scratches, scuffs and marks that play right through on my player. For the most part, the record plays pretty quiet. Still pretty glossy too.

Far from perfect, but still VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!!!

Great gift for any collector or fan of REAL ROCK N' ROLL!!!
