Decca Ace of Diamonds - Britten The Prince of the Pagodas LP Box Set - UK Pressing.....
I AM NOT A RECORD COLLECTOR/DEALER, I HAVE ACQUIRED A COLLECTION OF LP'S, I KNOW THE PREVIOUS OWNER TOOK GOOD CARE OF THEM, I CURRENTLY ONLY HAVE TWO LISTED, (Please also see ASD 3471/72 MESSIAEN TURANGALILA SYMPHONY.ANDRE PREVIN X2 LP BX SET) IM NOT ABLE TO LIST ALL OF THEM SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTICULAR LP, I DONT MIND CHECKING MY COLLECTION, MOST OF THE LP'S LOOK LIKE THEY'VE NEVER BEEN PLAYED BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR TO TELL IF THEY HAVE OR NOT, SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE....
I FEEL THIS LP IS A BIT SPECIAL, AS IT HAS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT FROM HMV (PHOTO ATTACHED).
I HAVE LISTED BOTH LP'S TO MY BEST ABILITY! AS MENTIONED I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ON THESE ITEMS, BUT ONE ADVANTAGE TO ANY BUYER, IS THAT I AM VERY FUSSY, HONEST AND WOULD NATURALLY DETAIL ANY VISUAL IMPERFECTIONS ON ANYTHING I SELL.....
Vinyls - I would describe them in an amazing like new condition, there are a few very, very faint marks (I can't call them scratches, as they are small v.faint surface lines with no depth to them at all) starting from the edge of the centre paper in the middle leading out to the record itself (not on the music), they are nearly impossible to see and need a good eye to spot them, I'm sure other sellers wouldn't even bother listing them! otherwise there are NO marks/scratches of any kind anywhere else on both records - Paper surrounding holes are immaculate!
Sleeves - I would describe as crisp from compression and very slight bleaching/fading where they have been stored carefully in the box/overlaped for many, many years.
Box - I would describe this in a fantastic condition for its age, it does'nt look new but at the same time it is not damaged - Lightly scuffed on corners and two sides slightly bow, which you can see in picture showing back of box.
Leaflet - Immaculate.
Receipt - Excellent Condition.
