grateful dead live bootleg double lp ..very rare with sticker on cover ...signed by the famous photographer of the grateful dead bill whitbeck who wrote hisname on all of his records to show his ownership and is also signed by jerry garcia....
this copy was originally owned by the famous photographer "bill whitbeck" who photographed the grateful dead and has his name written very small on the labels of these lps ..jerry garcias autograph is also written in black marker on the back of the sleeve ......this came out of a collection from the danceteria club from new york city ...it has been in my fathers collection for many many years and was one of his prized possesions .....we are now selling some of this collection off but this is really the only neat grateful dead piece out of the collection ...there will be more lps and bootlegs offered but nothing as nice as this copy ...i tried doing some reserch on the internet to find out if this lp set had a name for ebay listing purposes but could not find any real info on it ...the only info i could find were two web sites that said this lp set was limited to 500 copies and only 200 of them came with the sicker ...supposevly many of these didnt come with a sticker and many didnt even have track listings on the lps so unless you were familiar with the grateful dead the only way to figure out what was on this set was by listening to the songs ....i am still unsure what show or shows this set is taken from so if anyone out there knows please send me a message ...my father has always wondered about this and what year these are from, and id like to finally solve his mystery
sleeve is in great condition ...spine has a 3 inch split ...sticker on cover is in ex condition....
vinyl is also in excellent condition ....a couple very very light scuffs but nothing that affects play...scuffs are very minor and hard to see ....
the sound quality on these lps is quite impressive for a bootleg ..everything comes in nice loud and clear and very enjoyable ....
