4 tracks, 4 winners. Brilliant US melody punk from 1989. Original first pressing on blue vinyl and with the ‘Laytonville’ address printed on the back of the sleeve (see second scan). Now 24 years old and already LONG OUT OF PRINT. The great West Coast punk label ‘Lookout’ records kicked out this early GREEN DAYsingle (catalogue number 17). eBay prices for blue vinyl pressings: $462 + £237 + $400. Listen to the following crackers. ‘Dry ice’ / ‘1,000 Hours’ / ‘Only Of You’ and ‘The One I Want’. As additional here is the comment from the great FLEX (US Punk/Hardcore) discography:

• #1 - First press with Laytonville address for Lookout Records. Issued on black, red (200), blue (600), purple (200), clear (100) and yellow (100) vinyl. Some copies come with lyric sheet. #2 - Repressings with Berkeley address.
• Their debut EP already has the right blend of noisy guitars, catchy melodies and cool vocal arrangements… Hüskers meet Fastbacks at a Ramones show. Punk’n’roll the way it should be. [8]
• Schön poppige Minnesota-meets-Fastbacks-at-a-Ramones-Show-Schiene, genau die richtige Mischung zwischen krachigen Gitarren, netten Melodien, Herz-Schmerz, mehrstimmigem Gesang etc. Punk’n’Roll, wie er sein sollte…
