RARE Gentle Giant Acquiring The Taste UK 1st Press Prog Psych Vertigo Swirl WITH Original Vertigo Swirl Inner Sleeve! Catalogue Number 6360 041.
The sophomore album by UK prog giants (all “giant” puns are intended) Gentle Giant from 1971. Arguably a giant leap forward from their self titled debut from a year prior, Acquiring The Taste is their door buster, bringing them to the top along with other contemporaries of the time like Yes and King Crimson. Absolutely fantastic prog with strong direction.
The cover is a very solid VG, only light seam wear, no splits or ringwear! Some light staining on the front and and a very small knick on the opening of the gatefold on both panels. Strong seams and brilliant color. Looks fantastic! Fairly well kept. Please refer to pictures!
The disc is a very strong VG+! Only some very light marks, looks like it was from going in and out the sleeve. Other than that disc is in gorgeous condition. Labels are strong and sharp with great coloring and almost no wear! Overall a very nice copy!
The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition with no splits and only minor wear and light creases. Still very nice!
