Description
Prestige PR-7727, “Sleepy Man Blues” with Geoff Muldaur, from 1963. This is a later 1960s stereo pressing. Geoff Muldaur, guitar & vocals; Dave Van Ronk, guitar; Eric Von Schmidt, mandolin & harmonica; “Bill Keogh, piano; Fritz Richmond, washtub bass. The vinyl plays at VG++ with isolated erratic bits of static; most is NM. About 3” (5 cm) of the paper on the left side of the upper seam has flaked off; a few more inches of the upper seam is beginning to do so; there are no real splits. There is light wear on lower seam and a bit on the spine; there are no bends; jacket back is basically clean with no writing or stamps. Songs are “Jelly Roll Blues”, “Rian Don’t Fall on Me”, “Sleepy Man Blues”, “This Morning She Was Gone”, “I Have Had My Fun”, “Good Gin Blues”, “Motherless Child Blues”, “Georgia Skin Game”, “Aberdeen, Mississippi Blues”, “Trouble in Mind”, “Everybody Ought to Make a Change”, and “Drop Down Mama”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
