George Harrison - All Things Must Pass Vinyl Gatefold LP
Rare Peruvian Pressing from Industrias Electricas Y Musicales Peruanas S.A.
- Description
Released as a triple album in November 1970, All Things Must Pass is the third studio album by English rock musician George Harrison. This was Harrison's first solo work after the break-up of the Beatles in April that year. It includes the hit singles My Sweet Lord and What Is Life, as well as songs such as Isn't It a Pity and the title track that had been overlooked for inclusion on Beatles releases.
This particular copy is a double album Peruvian Pressing from Industrias Electricas Y Musicales Peruanas S.A. and finding copies from this country in any condition can be pretty difficult. A detailed track by track audio review is provided below but, overall, the two discs in this set grade to VG- with frequent static throughout. The tracks on side 1 and 2 contain light static and grade to VG. Interestingly, Isn't it a pity closes side 1 with a very short backward skip that almost sounds natural and gives the song an infinite ending. Side 3 has much more frequent and louder static and grades between G and G+. Half of Side 4 grades VG with very light static while the other half is closer to G with louder static and crackles.

To prevent cover seam splits, unsealed records will have their media removed from their covers and both the media, in its original inner sleeve, and the cover will be slipped into an outer poly sleeve for further protection. We ship in purpose-built LP mailers with cardboard stiffners to prevent folding. To reduce our carbon footprint and save you some cost, we usually reuse mailers we've received in the past.

- How We Grade
Record grading is not a definite science and is subjective. We try our best to be as accurate as possible and follow the Goldmine Grading System described in the table below. We provide high quality photographs so you can gauge condition for yourself. In the item description, we do our best to describe condition issues that may not be obvious in the images.
Grade Cover (Outer Sleeve) Media (Vinyl) Near Mint (NM) Nearly perfect, no writing, no after-purchase stickers, no markings, free of creases, ring wear, and seam splits. Shiny/glossy, no visible surface defects, label is centered, very little (if any) spindle marks, plays without significant surface noise. Excellent (E) There may be very slight ring wear or discolorization that is barely noticable. There may be slight wear, like very minor corner or seam wear or a bottom split that is less than an inch long. There may be a discount notch, drill hole, or corner cut. Slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect playability. May have a slight warp that does not impact listening experience. Very Good (VG) Imperfections are more noticable than above. Ring wear, corner or edge damage will be obvious. Some creases may be visible and seam splits may appear on more than one side, but are not obvious. There may be some writing too. Usually have some scratches that may be audible, especially in soft passages and during song gaps. Any noise does not overpower the music and is otherwise a fine listening experience. Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label. Good (G) There is significant ring wear, corner and edge damage and heavy wear. There may be heavy writing, tape, or stickers, or residue left from a removed sticker. Seam splits are obvious and significant. Plays through without skipping but there is significant surface noise and the label may be worn. The surface has long since lost its luster. Fair (F), Poor (P) Heavily damaged. Entire seams may be split. Significant warping, noise and skipping. We believe the bar is set so high with the mint grade that we don't use it. As Goldmine says, "These are absolutely perfect in every way. Often rumored but rarely seen, mint should never be used as a grade unless more than one person agrees that the record or sleeve truly is in this condition."
