Up for your Consideration is this 1955 Used 33-1/3 LP Album by “George Wallington Quintet” titled “At the Bohemia”...Featuring “The Peck” ...Very rare mid-50's Bop LP...Featuring George Wallington on piano, Jackie McClean on alto sax , Donald Byrd on trumpet, Paul Chambers on bass & Art Taylor on drums - recorded by Rudy Van Gelder at the Cafe Bohemia, Sept 9, 1955 - Original Mono Pressing - Deep groove on both sides, RVG in run out groove …Originally released in 1955 on Progressive Records Label…with a product number of PLP1001... this Great 33-1/3 LP is very rare and in Very Good Condition...there are some light marks on both sides … on side 2 there are a couple of small scratches that effect song 2, “Jay Mac’s Crib”.  When playing the Album in it’s entirety you can hear a bit of surface noise where the scratches are, there is no skipping and no detraction from the awesome sound quality of this Great LP… Labels are in Excellent Condition … Album Cover is in  Good Condition, the top and bottom spine had white tape on them...now there is a little white residue from the tape after I cleaned it off...neither spines are torn or broken.  The main spine has a 4" split in it and has clear tape that has turned yellow and some of the white tape in the center of the spine., there is someone's name in black ink on the back of the cover in the upper right hand corner... overall what I see is a Album that is in Very Good Condition … I have been listing over the last several months... and I’ve been getting very good feedback on everything even though I don't know allot about music or grading... but I can tell if something is in Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent Condition…Since I’ve Been a Antique Dealer for over 30yrs.  I have set up my own rating chart below that I can understand and live with... I inspect everything under bright spot light and state what I see...Condition is a very subjective thing and is up to each individual’s interpretation... Please look at all of the pictures since they are a part of the description also... All my LP’s come with a plastic protective sleeve and a white Record sleeve …if you are interested in this Jazz LP please be sure to bid early to beat out the last minute snipers…good luck on your bidding…<><
