Description

First time ever I found a spare of my alltime fave Surinam 45, former Dutch colony in Latin America, with a fantastic Afro mod vibe. Girl Is Gerda Havertong who would become famous later in the Netherlands for being part ofd the Dutch Sesamstreet crew. Her 'Mamaisa' should be played loud with a certain Miriam Makeba kinda afro vibe but also with soca flashes and a genuine amazing atmosphere. Very soulful and welldone. Well arranged too. Listen!!!
