CONDITION DETAILS HYPE-STICKER on front. Import from Europe. Made in Germany Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, discoloration spots, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (poly-lined paper); bottom seam partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Top-edge has text and is easy-to-read. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Where its predecessor leaned on soft rock and new wave, the soundtrack to the 1989 film Ghostbusters II feels like a snapshot of its time with its blend of R&B, new jack swing, rock and rap. Featuring a redone version of Ray Parker, Jr.'s original theme by Run-D.M.C., as well as two cuts from Bobby Brown (On Our Own and We're Back) and New Edition's Supernatural, mixed with songs from Glenn Frey of the Eagles and James Taylor. The film's soundtrack is like a time capsule of radio in the late '80s. The soundtrack makes for a nostalgic journey that fans of the film (or '80s R&B) will have fun revisiting.
