Recorded in Hiversum, Holland in 1977. 9 tracks with a basic quartet that includes Gijs Hendriks, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone saxes, clarinet; Siegfried Kessler, piano, fender piano; Bert van Erk, bass, bass guitar; Micheal Baird, drums, percussion. 2 tracks also include Sonny Grey, trumpet. 3 tracks aslo include Slide Hampton, trombone with various additional artists such as Raul Burnet, congas, bongos; Frank Grasso, trumpet, flugelhorn; Harvey Wainapel, alto sax, clarinet as well as other musicians. All personnel are identified in the notes in the gatefold jacket. Rare.
