Description

Gil Scott-Heron “Real Eyes” original promo release NM vinyl, cover, inner sleeve. Corner cut promotional copy with gold embossed promotion stamp on top left reverse cover.
One of the originals! A poet, song writer, arranger, rapper, observer of our culture and a speaker of truth to power. Gil Scott-Heron was taken from us too soon, but the appreciation of his body of work only grows larger.
This original Arista (AL 9540) promo copy of Real Eyes from 1980 is near mint in every way. Cover, inner sleeve, and vinyl.
Classics songs like “The Train From Washington”, “A Legend in His Own Mind”, and “You Could Be My Brother” are on the album. Stellar players were on the sessions.
This album is rare to find for sale, and this copy is probably one of the finest examples available.
