Description

This is a very scarce original 1st stereo UK copy of an album of music by Beethoven played by Emil Gilels (piano) with Leopold Ludwig conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra titled Concerto No. 5 in E flat Op. 73 "Emperor" released on Columbia Records in 1958. The record has only a few very light surface hairline marks, nothing deep and it sounds great on my turntable so I'd grade it EX as it plays so well you will not be disappointed. The sleeve has only very light signs of storage wear along the opening edge but is otherwise in near EX condition and comes in it's original poly-lined inner. A nice copy overall and one of several rare classical records I will be listing in coming weeks. Columbia Records : SAX 2252
