Description
Very rare original United Kingdom first edition pressing of this sought after Mono pressing record on the Red Gold HMV ALP label. The dead wax has the catalogue number side one of. 2XEA 791-2N with mother stamper numbers of 1G on both sides.
Record is not mint but is fully described below including details of play testing from start to finish both sides.
The original soft cover is in good + condition. The photographs are of the actual cover and you can see the wear on the sleeve quite clearly which includes a couple of creases, ring wear, splits at the two corners of the sleeve entrance and the original record shops printed stamp on the back. The laminate is in fairly good condition with only a couple of spots where it has started to life. The lettering on the spine is fully intact. Please examine the photos.
Visually side one is in excellent condition with a few whispy marks etc. Side one plays well with some occasional crackling and one or two minor pops. Side one plays fully from start to finish. The labels are nice and clean and have the correct embossed UK tax codes.
Visually side two is in very good condition. There are a couple of small spot blemishes in the vinyl and a few light scratches. Photo 12 shows these. The labels are nice and clean. This side plays from start to finish but where the two blemishes are it does click for 3 rotations and again for 6 rotations. There is some light crackling.
Overall this record is probably very good condition but it is far from perfect with the sound defects outlined above. It is offered for sale due to its rarity.
