Godzilla vs. Hedorah vinyl soundtrack LP of the film of the same name, on Cheddar Brothers Records, circa 1997(?). This mega rare LP is pressed on a silver vinyl record that appears to be unplayed, graded visually. And it had that 'stick to the inner sleeve' clingy action of a record never even out of its sleeve, when we took the photos. But since we cannot definitively determine whether it has been played, we are listing this as used. One of only 500 copies pressed, this record captures the soundtrack to what is arguably the most colorful, bizarre and psychedelic entry in the Showa era Godzilla movies out of Toho Studios in Japan. The brilliant score is one of the flat-out grooviest in the whole Godzilla early Showa Era series of monster movies.
The movie begins with growing warning signs of destructive pollution in Tokyo Bay before Tokyo suddenly gets attacked by the smog monster, Hedorah, which grew out of polluted water in the bay. Hedorah emerges onto land and starts terrorizing the city with toxic slime! But that's not all. The smog monster started out fairly large, but soon grows gigantic from feeding on all the smog and pollution in the air. Then along comes Godzilla to fight Hedorah, with a small boy and his allies cheering Godzilla on. The action intensifies. Soon Hedorah morphs into a giant flying pancake monster that spews sulfuric acid on the people in the city as it flies over! The movie action is interspersed with some seriously psychedelic scenes and music from what looks to be a Tokyo dance club pre-disco and chock full of weirdness, action and fun with the human and kaiju (monster) cast of heroes. Finally, an epic battle takes place between Godzilla and Hedorah that will decide the fate of the earth! This is the wildest Godzilla movie ever with way out seventies fashions and environmental concerns colliding head-on with big monster brawls!

Visual grading of this record shows that it appears unplayed and in excellent condition, but we are listing it as used. Cover is excellent also, with small dings on two corners. Cover art by Brendan Flynn is very colorful and shows the monster Hedorah on the front and production scenes from the film on the back. Sticker art by Hugo Silva.
