Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Gorillaz – Demon Days – RARE Original Double Vinyl LP album from 2005.
This is the original and 100% official original first pressing of this super RARE album. It was bought back in 2005 and is 100% original and official.
Please be careful with the huge number of fake copies that are available out there. They are advertised as “re-pressings” but are actually bad quality, unofficial fakes and should be avoided. They are just as expensive too for what they are.
This vinyl that I have for sale is the 100% ORIGINAL & OFFICIAL first issue from 2005.
These original pressings have the black spine with white text. The fake copies have a white spine. Also my original has the proper parental advisory sticker on the front. The fakes have this just photocopied on.
Also my original has the proper picture inner sleeves. The fakes just have plain white paper ones.
Overall this is a RARE opportunity to own an original and official pressing of this increasingly rare and sought after vinyl album. It is NOT mint by any means but plays and sounds absolutely amazing.
Vinyl Condition: G/VG (The vinyl’s have a lot of light marks, light lines and some hairline scratches and scuffs etc. Record 2 has more visible marks. There are some visible scratches and scuff marks etc but the record plays great. It plays better than it looks. There are some light clicks and pops in places but overall superb playback and the audio quality is superb. No sticks or jumps. The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl and it sounds superb and rich. Way better than the CD. Overall the records are marked in places but this has little effect on the playback. Superb playback and is a pleasure to listen to).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Inner sleeves are in superb condition overall. One sleeve has an approx. 4cm split but is otherwise near perfect. I have placed the records in new plain white polylined inners to protect the record from further sleeve marks and to protect the inner sleeves).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Some edge and corner wear. Some shelf wear to the spine. There is a large scratch to the back face. There are some light scratches and edge creasing here and there. Overall very nice condition for its age).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
