~ Grateful Dead // Round Records ~ 1975 Sampler Package + 45 RPM (from the 30 Trips Box set) + 45 RPM Alabama Getaway + Early Newsletters ('74, '75, '80) ============================================== Round Records Sampler package: These three 7" records (331/3) were sent out in 1974 & '75 to those heads who had answered the call on the 1971 LP Skull & Roses: " DEAD FREAKS UNITE: Who are you? Where are you? ..." They were sent one at a time and each came with a letter and some 5" picture cards. I am the original owner. All items are in varying condition - please read below. Will gladly send more pics upon request. Records Condition: As New // Unplayed. Always kept sleeved & shelved. Just recently put into new paper sleeves. Letters Condition: Good +. Browning/fading to paper, mostly on edges. Mostly flat but with some edge wear & corner bumps. No rips, tears or stains. Picture Cards Condition: Garcia & Keith/Donna are Good + - never displayed. Other 3 are (barely) Acceptable, mostly from constant display with tape. Consider these a Bonus to this auction. ================================================ 45 RPM ~ Caution b/w Box Of Rain - from 30 Trips Box Set: The 45 RPM is from the 30 Trips CD Box Set that was being sold on dead.net to commemorate the Grateful Dead's 50th anniversary. The box set had a limited edition run of 6500 pieces and is now officially SOLD OUT. Dead.net has stated that this record will NOT be available from either their website or any other commercial retailers. Condition: Brand New This record was never sealed/wrapped in plastic by the manufacturer. I have put it into a brand new paper sleeve. I used cotton gloves (yes, really!!) to handle this and all the other 29 CD sets i currently have for sale. The record was briefly opened to check for marks, stains etc. Pictures were taken and it was then put into a paper sleeve. ================================================ Early Newsletters: 1974 Condition: Acceptable/Good 8 pager on 2 sheets. Lots of edge curl (easily fixed) & browning on edges & fold lines. A small 3" square cutout on one page - see pics. 1975 Condition: Good + Large one-piece, 21.5" x 16.5", folded to 8.25 x 5.5. Heavy paper stock. A few spots with foxing. Very slight fading. Minor wear along fold lines. 1980 Condition: Good 8.5 x 11" 2/s, tri folded. Probably 60# or 70# paper stock. Significant browning to the edges, both sides. A tiny 1/4" tear on the bottom, otherwise no other rips or stains. ================================================ 45 RPM ~ Alabama Getaway b/w Far From Me: Condition: Good + Two very slight scuffs on the A side. Very clean B side. Sleeve has slight curl on one edge. Otherwise clean & bright. Acceptable/good
