Aoxomoxoa is the third Grateful Dead studio album.[4] One of the first rock albums to be recorded using 16-track technology, fans and critics alike consider this era to be the band's experimental apex. The title is a meaningless palindrome, usually pronounced "ox-oh-mox-oh-ah".

Rolling Stone, upon reviewing the album, mentioned that "no other music sustains a lifestyle so delicate and loving and lifelike In 1991 Rolling Stone selected Aoxomoxoa as having the 8th best album cover of all time.

It is the only studio release to include pianist Tom Constanten as an official member (he had contributed to the previous album and played live with the band from November 1968 to January 1970). It was also the first to have lyricist Robert Hunter as a full-time contributor to the band, thus cementing the Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter song-writing partnership that endured for the rest of the band's existence. It was also the first time the band would emphasize acoustic songs (such as "Mountains of the Moon" and "Dupree's Diamond Blues"), which would become the focus of the next two studio albums.

When I became a member of the eBay community in April 2004 The first items I sold were Vinyl records and I was blown away that my Beatles records were so popular and I was posting records to Japan, Australia, France and Germany and it was always my intention to auction off almost all of my records but so many things got in the way of me doing this, but now the tracks (pun intended) are clear for me to start listing records again.

I am not a dealer, and all items offered for sale are from my personal collection. I do use my personal knowledge and the guidance available on the internet & eBay to describe my items accurately. It is important to me that buyers are happy with their purchases particularly those items which I have owned for a long time, and am often reluctant to sell.

I grade my records in line with UK Record Collector grading system. As follows:

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

I have not had an opportunity to play the record, but visual inspection shows both Sides 1 & are in excellent near mint condition due to only being played a couple of times. This will be the case with most of my records as I used to copy them to other “recording formats”

The cover is also in EXCELLENT condition throughout. No tears or splits, having been carefully stored - it has not seen daylight for at least 25 years!

I always pack my records very well using proper record mailers with added stiffeners. Postage in the UK depending on the item value is either 1st Class signed for or Special Next Day Delivery
