Description

Hello! This is an auction for a copy of the very first Grateful Dead album on Warner Bros., catalogue number W 1689. This is notably the very first mono pressing on the gold Warner Bros. labels. The record has significant scuffing and scratching to it but plays without skips or sticks. The cover is in quite good condition, with only light to mild general wear to speak of. This release came out when mono was on its way out and stereo was becoming the new standard, so mono copies of this album are quite a bit rarer than the stereo copies. Good luck!
