You are bidding on Green Day's first 7" ep - the totally ULTRA RARE FIRST PRESSING ON PINK VINYL!!!!!!!!!!
Green Day, "Sweet Children" 7" - This is the ultimate Green Day holy grail . . . their first ever ep released on Skene Records in 1989. This record, in any pressing, is highly sought after and costs an arm and a leg for collectors, but this is not just any pressing. It is ultra-mega-rare first pressing on pink marbled vinyl. Songs: Sweet Children, Best Thing in Town, Strangeland and My Generation. If you take the sleeve out of the plastic and look carefully at the sleeve, you can tell that someone removed a price sticker that had been stuck directly on the sleeve. The owner went to great lengths to take it off carefully, and it is in a black part of the cover and invisible when in the plastic sleeve. Other than this small flaw, the cover is in excellent shape (only slight contouring to the shape of the record). The vinyl is in excellent condition and plays well.
Green Day blew past one hit wonder status almost a decade ago, and have passed the sophomore and junior jinx stages with multi-platinum records spanning the length of their storied career, and with the Grammy, they are a total lock for the rock hall of fame and endless heavy rotation on the classic rock stations of the year 2025. Whatever you throw down for this, it will be worth twice as much in a few years and only grow in value as long as you hold it. I'm only parting with this awesome record because I have bills to pay.
