A nice rare 1st pressing with the banned cover, replaced by Geffen soon after release

Whilst in bad taste, the band actually stated that the cover represented "a symbolic social statement, with the robot representing the industrial system that's raping and polluting our environment.” 

This copy comes with a stunning cover, vinyl, original sheet of stickers and the lyic inner sleeve

Vinyl condition: EX

Labels: The labels are nice and clean, with light spindle marks

Spindle hole: Nice and clean

Playing surface: There are very feint handling marks on both sides under light, and 1 feint noticeable hairline side 2

Run Off: Nice & clean

Overall it looks very nice indeed

Sound: NM

This record has been been listened right through;

Both sides sound really good with great range, power and clarity. There is some very very occasional background surface noise in the link grooves on the odd track. 

Overall a great sound, with trace noise only in the link grooves; with great range and power

Cover, sleeves and insert condition: EX

Spine: Nice and straight, readable text, with a tiny small crease

Seams: Top seam has the spine text which is crisp and readable. No damage or rub. Bottom is also very nice

Opening: It has a couple of very slight thumb marks, very straight

Front Cover: Under light there are a couple of crease viens on the spine edge. Slight very light scuffs along bottom edge. bottom edges very lightky dinked

Back Cover: There are some small creases to the spine edge otherwise near mint

Lyric sleeve: Still nice and clean with some light creasing, but pretty flat 

Sticker sheet: Unused and straight. 1 slight crease

Overall this record is in very very close to NM, some would probably grade it NM. 

The record looks great, the sound is lovely with all the inserts and a cracking cover

MINT (M): A perfect record that looks like it has just left the factory, with NO flaws what so ever looking as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record appears virtually flawless at first glance and has a great luster. It should only have very minor scuffs or marks on the surface of the vinyl, which are only visible under strong light. It should play without any noise particularly over the flaw. 

EXCELLENT (EX): A record with only minor scuffs, which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs or marks. It should play without any noise over the flaw.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record shows wear which could include surface scuffs and marks, blotches or stains. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise. 

A plus (+) or (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.

MINT (M): The cover is free of any stickers, address labels, writing or labels. There are no tears or seam splits or wear / fading to the cover. The age of the record has not affected the condition. The cover, sleeve and any inserts (posters, stickers, lyric sheets) look brand new.

NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.

EXCELLENT (EX): The artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. There may be some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no dis-colouration. It may have some slight creases to the corners, but no major wrinkling, holes or other damage. 

VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks clean but with slightly more wear. This could include some fading due to minor sun damage, but there will be know no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.
