Description

You are bidding on an original vinyl copy of the 10" Blue Note release of 'HANK MOBLEY QUARTET' released on Blue Note Records in 1955(BLP 5066).

The lineup includes:

  • Hank Mobley - tenor sax

  • Doug Watkins - bass
  • Art Blakey - drums

Vinyl has 'deep groove', 'ear mark' and '161 Lexington Avenue NYC' address. Plays through with a good amount of surface noise, no skips. There is plenty of visible wear though. I would grade this at G+.

Cover is in G+ shape as well. Has plenty of ringwear, seam splits, yellowing, some waterstains on the back and both corners are dinged.

So you can see why i did not bother to put a reserve on it - it's a good 'filler' piece though. In better shape this would go for more.
