Description
This is an original promo package for the first LP release by Harry Nilsson on RCA Records. It is a box set called Nilsson The True One. I'm going to start out by listing everything it includes:
Outer Box Poster 2 sheets of 4 stickers each that say Nilsson 3 different Bios 2 Bio Photos Nilsson The True One pin 2 Balloons that say Nilsson Membership Card Mono Pandemonium Shadow Show LP
The top of the cover is not attached to the bottom. This is minor. There is also light wear on the box cover. The LP is a mono copy of Pandemonium Shadow Show LPM-3874 but it does not state that it is a promo copy. The cover is M- with a very minor amount of wear at the top and bottom center on the back, and also just to the right and below the clown near the center. I stored the LP and cover in a plastic sleeve since I've owned it. The record plays a very nice VG++ with an occasional light noise in the background and with excellent tone and sound. There is a small mark in one spot on Side One. It still plays as graded. A mono copy of this LP alone recently sold for $75 in similar condition. This set is a true rarity.
There is light wear on the inside of the box. Also, at one time the pin was moved from one spot to another. It left an indentation in both spots. There is some bending on the right side of the poster ad. There is a three page bio on Nilsson, a two page bio on Pandemonium Shadow Show, and a two page printout of the lyrics to all of the songs that Harry wrote. Each of these is on Nilsson the true one letterhead with RCA Victor Records Press and Information with address at the bottom. All three have small bends in the upper right corner in the same spot. The Pandemonium bio also has a bend in the bottom left corner. I think that covers it. If you have any questions please write.
