Description

This is an original, 1953 Harry Partch: Plectra And Percussion Dances (Satyr-Play Music for Dance Theater) 12" LP Vinyl Record. It is the "Harry Partch Trust Fund First Edition" Subscriber Edition released by The Gate 5 Ensemble in Sausalito, California in 1953. The record is SIGNED/AUTOGRAPHED by Harry Partch and hand numbered (this is #25). It is on GREEN VINYL dubbed as "unbreakable vinylite" on the sleeve. The red lines on the back are printed on and the pen mark on the back that says "Stet" was the same on the only other copy of this I have ever seen so it is either printed on or was hand written on each one of them at the time. 
The vinyl grades conservatively as VG. Please see the images for the condition of the sleeve. There is some wear on the edges but no tears/separation.
Partch is an important part of modern music history, inspiring some of todays most creative musicians and Beck has written a song about him.
