JASCHA HEIFETZ - Bruch: Concerto In G Minor and Mozart: Concerto In D Minor New Symphony Orchestra Of London conductor: Malcolm Sargent. RCA Living Stereo (cat# LSC 2652) Sealed Pressing - year unknown (late 60s - early 70s)
This is a beautiful sealed copy of Heifetz performing Bruch's Concerto In G Minor and Mozart's Concerto In D Minor with the New Symphony Orchestra Of London under the conduction of Malcolm Sargent. This record was originally released in 1963 by RCA (cat # LSC-2652) and this copy, although sealed is most likely from the 2nd pressing although we can't be sure since it has never been opened. The original shrink-wrap is broken at the top and bottom of the spine causing some corner wear and edge wear on the bottom edge at the spine. Rubbing of the shrink-wrap gives the illusion of ring wear but it seems to be only on the shrink (if there is actual ring wear, it should be very light). This recording and performance is very well regarded and an unplayed vinyl copy like this (with or without a shaded dog) will provide a wonderful listening experience.
