Moody proto Jazz funk from 1972 from the Mwandishi crew featuring Benny Maupin, Victor Pontoja, Billy Hart, Buster Williams, Julian Priester, and Eddie Henderson. “Quasar” and “Sleeping Giant” have been used by hip hop producers. The percussive intro to the latter is crazy good. Check the audio below, from another copy.
