Hancock's debut recording for Blue Note!  Rudy Van Gelder (RVG), Engineer.  Matrix Run Out (Deadwax) - BNST 84109A - BNST 84019B; STEREO, VAN GELDER and Ear Both Sides.  Hancock on Piano with Freddie Hubbard, Trumpet; Dexter Gordon, Tenor Sax; Butch Warren, Bass and Billy Higgins, Drums. Stellar lineup!  PLEASE NOTE:  This is not a great copy, listed for its rarity and collectibility, check photos carefully.  Vinyl G+ with multiple marks throughout. Plays (VG+) through without skips with surface noise throughout in varying degrees. To my ear retains that Blue Note/Van Gelder dynamic sound...Labels VG+ with light wear....Jacket VG/VG+, front retains glossy sheen, with some ring wear; back with some ring wear; spine intact, no splits with wear on corners.  Words on spine very clear.  Rare original Stereo pressing!
